The regional logistics company
Adriatic Maritime Distribution (AMD), with its own offices in Koper, Zagreb and Belgrade, managed to be recognized as one of the leaders in the regional market for consolidated container shipment in less than 3 years of operations.
AMD recently opened a new direct intermodal service from China to Belgrade for the needs of clients from Serbia, without reloading of goods from containers:

– In cooperation with our Chinese partners in the main Chinese ports of Ningbo, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Qingdao, we are able to offer a more cost-competitive solution for consolidated container transport from China compared to the existing option via the port of Koper and transshipment of goods in Slovenia. The new service (named ECONOMY) involves the unloading of shipping containers in the port of Rijeka and truck transport to customs warehouse in Dobanovci, logistics center near Belgrade. With this new service, we are able to expand our service portfolio and cover different categories of customers who have needs to import goods from China. It ensures greater market coverage in an efficient and reliable manner. Certainly, the service through the port of Koper (named EXPRESS) still remains as an integral part of our market offer, in line with the needs of most clients in the region. We sincerely hope that this additional service will contribute to increase of our China - Serbia trade to the satisfaction of all stakeholders - says Nataša Jevtić, AMD representative for the Serbian market.

New partnerships
In addition to the ports of Koper and Rijeka, which AMD uses as the main gateways for transport of consolidated container shipments, we have expanded our business activity to some of the largest ports in Western Europe: Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp and Barcelona, from which we organize efficient distribution of shipments across Central and Eastern Europe as a support to our Western European partners. At the same time, AMD is able to offer its customers in the region global coverage via the largest European ports:
- Our mission is to be recognized as a reliable and competitive partner in the region
for the transportation of all types of consolidated container shipments across Central and Eastern Europe from/to worldwide destinations, with the strong support of our international network of suppliers and partners, enabling us to have global coverage - says AMD CEO Mr. Petar Višekruna.
