Winery Aleksic was founded on the story about love for wine, which grew into a serious and award-winning business venture. Three ladies, three sisters, strive every day to be better than yesterday.
They improve their knowledge in the field of oenology every day, which, along with modern technology, are the pillars of the winery.
Since the very beginning, the company’s headquarters are located in Vranje, where they have a modern building built on three levels, as well as 70 ha under vineyards. They grow old, indigenous grape varieties, and believe that Serbia should be known as winegrowing and wine-making region with local wine grape varieties that have been growing here for ages.
Respecting the principles of good business with dedicated work, a strong winery, that successfully writes its second decade of existence, with proven quality, has been created.
Back in February, the influential wine magazine Decanter published a selection of 15 representative wines from Serbia, a list compiled by Caroline Gilby MW, the leading expert for wines from this part of the world, which listed Biser Smederka extra brut 2016 with 92 points. Moreover, Aleksic Winary is the only winery from Serbia that has won three gold medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards. Last year these medals were awarded to Biser (white sparkling wine), Zuti Cvet (white sparkling wine and Amanet (dry red wine).
Visits to Aleksic Winery are possible throughout the year. It is possible to organize corporate celebrations, team building events or a private dinner. Weather permitting, it is even possible to organize lunches in the vineyard.
