SWISS increasing number of flights to Zurich from Nis Airport

The Swiss national airline SWISS will operate flights on the Nis-Zurich-Nis route throughout the entire 2027 summer flight season, according to an announcement from Nis Constantine the Great Airport.

Flights from Nis to Zurich will be available from March 28 to October 29, 2027. Unlike the previous two years, when flights ran for only about two months, from late June to late August, the service will operate for a full seven months next year, the airport states.

Another change compared to previous years is that SWISS has increased the frequency of its flights from Nis. Previously, the airline operated twice a week. Starting next year, it will fly three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The connection between Nis Airport and Zurich Airport is also significant as a gateway for onward travel to other destinations. The announcement notes that SWISS will specifically coordinate its flight schedule from Nis to facilitate connections to destinations such as New York, Chicago, Copenhagen, Berlin and London.
