Belgrade to host milestone AI 4 LIFE Biotech forum

On October 29-30, Belgrade will host the fifth, milestone international conference AI 4 LIFE: Biotech Future Forum. The event will showcase the latest developments in biotechnology, medicine and artificial intelligence, according to the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment.

Leading global scientists, industry representatives, investors, innovators and decision-makers will gather at Lozionica. Among the distinguished guests is Gregg Semenza, a professor at Johns Hopkins University and recipient of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

The program will cover next-generation therapies, the application of artificial intelligence in the life sciences, bioelectronic medicine, nanotechnology and innovation financing. Key areas of focus will include the development of AI infrastructure, advanced chips and breakthroughs within the pharmaceutical industry.

The conference is organized by the Government of Serbia and the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Serbia, in collaboration with the Office for IT and eGovernment, the World Economic Forum and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with support from the BIO4 Campus.

Over the past four years, the Forum has evolved into a recognized international platform that bridges science, technology, public policy and the business sector. Previous editions have brought together more than 300 speakers and 5,000 attendees from leading global universities, research institutions and companies.
