Apatin to start renovation of building for City Museum – Work on 700 m2 to last until January 2027

The Municipality of Apatin has awarded a contract worth 22.07 million dinars to the company Simbo Gradnja from Veternik for the renovation and conversion of the building intended to house the future Apatin City Museum.

The contract was awarded on August 20, 2026, following a tender for the project titled “Apatin Museum – Restoration and Contemporary Approach to Apatin’s Cultural Heritage – Phase III of Building Rehabilitation”.

According to the notification of commencement of works issued by the Apatin Municipal Administration on October 7, the project involves the rehabilitation, conversion, and change of use of a family residential building into a commercial facility - the Apatin City Museum.

The work entails the interior renovation and conversion of a building with a gross construction area of 700.28 square meters, located at 2 Srpskih Vladara Street, on cadastral parcels 2222/1 and 2279 KO Apatin.

The building consists of a basement and a ground floor. The scheduled start date for the work is September 14, 2026, with completion planned for January 11, 2027.

The project investor is the Municipality of Apatin, and the building permit for the work was issued on January 30, 2025.
