Another American fast-food chain arriving in Belgrade – Burger King to open first restaurant at Usce Shopping Center

American fast-food chain Burger King will open its first restaurant in Serbia this autumn at the “Usce” Shopping Center in Belgrade, announced MPC Properties, the Belgrade-based investor and management company for the center.

Following the Usce location, Burger King will also open a restaurant at the BEO Shopping Center, which is likewise managed by MPC Properties, the company stated.

Further details regarding exact opening dates and future locations will be announced soon, the statement added.

– Our first opening represents a significant investment in Belgrade - we are creating new jobs, developing local talent, and building long-term partnerships with local suppliers and business partners – said Veselin Janicijevic, Burger King’s Director for Serbia.

American fast-food chains such as McDonald’s, KFC and Taco Bell are already present in Serbia.

As for the rest of Southeast Europe, Burger King operates in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, and Slovenia.
