Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, the Minister of Mining and Energy in the caretaker government, discussed potential cooperation in the energy sector with Andrea Benveduti, Senior Vice President of the Italian company Ansaldo Energia.

As Djedovic Handanovic announced on Instagram, Ansaldo Energia possesses expertise in gas turbines, generators, and technological solutions for combined-cycle gas-steam power plants, as well as in the engineering and maintenance of energy facilities.

The Italian company is already present on the Serbian market through its involvement in the Pancevo combined heat and power plant.

– We are continuing discussions with leading international companies to secure modern technological solutions and reliable partners for the development of Serbia’s new energy capacities – the minister stated.

The meeting with the Ansaldo Energia representative is part of ongoing talks with international companies regarding cooperation opportunities and technological solutions for the development of Serbia’s energy sector.
