– We are opening the bids on October 13, and then after that, if there are no complaints, I think it will be a relatively quick signing of the contract and the foundation stone should be laid down – said Minister of Public Investments Darko Glisic, presenting the project to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The future maternity hospital will have more than 21,000 square meters, 129 patient beds, an operating room, intensive care and modern maternity and neonatology capacities, and should be intended not only for Nis but also for that part of Serbia.
As Glisic said, the value of the project is around 10 billion dinars.
The new Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics is designed as a modern, functionally clearly divided healthcare institution, in which medical processes, logistics and the movement of patients and staff are precisely separated.
Let us remind that the tender for the construction of this maternity hospital with supporting facilities, including a garage, was announced last week, and the estimated value of the work within it is around EUR 65 million.
