Wizz Air continues talks on operations in Serbia – There is still uncertainty about the impact of changed aviation regulations

Discussions over Wizz Air’s future operations at its Belgrade base are continuing as uncertainty persists over the impact of the country’s amended aviation regulations, reports the Ex-Yu Aviation News portal.

The carrier declined to disclose further details or indicate whether progress had been made, noting that there are ongoing talks with relevant authorities and that additional information will be provided “once developments can be made public.”

Wizz Air previously said it would have to decide on the future of its Belgrade base by late September, but would seek to retain as many services as possible if it relocates its based aircraft elsewhere.
