New subsidy from Provincial Government – 37.2 million dinars for repair of school roof in Senta

The Provincial Government has decided to allocate 37.2 million dinars to finance the repair and adaptation of the roof of the Elementary School “Stevan Sremac” in Senta.

The Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina made this decision at its last session, and the explanation states that the need for urgent repair arose after the heavy rainfall and stormy winds that hit Senta recently caused significant damage to the school’s roof.

This subsidy ensures the conditions for the necessary works to be carried out quickly.

The Elementary School “Stevan Sremac” in Senta has existed since 1973.

Škola „Stevan Sremac " se nalazi u centru grada u jednoj od najprometnijih ulica u gradu. Sagrađena je 1973. godine i projektovana je za oko osamsto učenika za rad u dve smene.

Nastava se odvija na dva nastavna jezika, na srpskom i mađarskom nastavnom jeziku. Škola ima dvadeset i četiri odeljenja sa četristo dva učenika i dve heterogene grupa produženog boravka (prvi i drugi razredi). Planirane zadatke škola ostvaruje sa pedest i dva nastavnika.
