Year-on-year inflation in Serbia reaches 2.7% in June, monthly inflation at 0.2%

Year-on-year inflation in Serbia stood at 2.7% in June this year, while monthly inflation reached 0.2%, according to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.


Consumer prices for goods and services, which are used to measure inflation, were on average 2.6% higher in June compared to December 2025.

Viewed by the main groups of products and services classified according to consumption purpose, price increases in June were recorded in recreation, sports and culture (5%), personal care items and services, social protection and other services (0.8%), furniture, household equipment and routine household maintenance (0.7%), health (0.5%), and restaurants and hotels (0.4%).

Prices also increased for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.3%), transport and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.2% each), as well as clothing and footwear (0.1%).

Price declines were recorded in the categories of food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.6%) and education (0.1%).
