Estimated production of raspberries in Serbia higher by around 14.5% than last year, sour cherries by as much as 96%

According to the estimations of crops as of May 23, 2026, the production of wheat is expected to be 3.84 million tons in the Republic of Serbia, which is an increase of 4.5% relative to the production output in 2025, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced.


When compared to 2025, the production of raspberries is expected to increase by 14.6%, and production of sour cherries to by 96.3% respectively.

When compared to the previous year, estimations show that in spring sowing 2026 there was the decrease of maize by 3.8%, soy by 7.5%, sugar beet by 5.7% and the increase of sunflower 3.5%.

When compared to ten-year average (2016 – 2025), the production of wheat increased by 27.8%, and there was the increase of sown sunflower by 9.3% and decrease of sown maize by 3.6%, sugar beet by 24.3% and of soy by 10.3%.
