Average salary in Serbia in April RSD 121,805 – In Stari grad close to 200,000

Average gross salaries and wages calculated for April 2026 amounted to RSD 168,008, while average net salaries and wages amounted to RSD 121,805, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Increase of gross salaries and wages, in the period January-April 2026, relative to the same period last year amounted to 11.5% in nominal terms, i.e 8.5% in real terms, while average net salaries and wages increased by 11.6% in nominal terms, i.e 8.6% in real terms.

Median net salaries and wages for April 2026 amounted to RSD 94,585, meaning that 50% of employees realized wages and salaries up to the mentioned amount.

The highest average net salaries were again achieved in Belgrade’s central municipalities. Stari grad is in first place with 195,252 dinars, followed by Vracar (193,855 dinars), New Belgrade (193,453 dinars), Savski venac (187,108 dinars) and Vozdovac, where the average net salary was 156,763 dinars.

On the other hand, the lowest salaries were recorded in Presevo, where the average net salary in April was 83,687 dinars. They are followed by Bojnik with 84,403 dinars, Vranjska Banja with 85,759 dinars, Crna Trava with 87,025 dinars and Vlasotince with 87,361 dinars.
