The Government of Serbia has approved the transfer of 143.65 million dinars (around EUR 1.22 million) from the current budget reserve to the City of Belgrade, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette.

The transfer of money was carried out through two decisions signed by Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic - one for 120 million and the other for 23.65 million dinars.

For both, it is stated that the money was approved “for the fulfillment of obligations for reasons that could not be foreseen in the process of preparing and adopting the budget, and which may lead to a threat to current liquidity.”

The City of Belgrade had a total of two budget revisions this year.

The first revision was adopted in February, and the second on June 25, which set the budget of this local government at around 202.15 billion dinars.
