Post of Serbia expanding capacities in Southeast Serbia – Plans to build large logistics and warehouse complex in Constantine the Great Airport

The Post of Serbia will build a large logistics and warehouse facility in the area of Constantine the Great Airport in Nis, announced Zoran Andjelkovic, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.

A memorandum of intent is to be signed that would enable Post of Serbia to build a large logistics center within Constantine the Great Airport, in order to meet the needs of southern Serbia and beyond, including the countries of the Western Balkans, North Macedonia, Albania and Bulgaria.

As he said, this is important for the Post of Serbia, the expansion of the network of logistics centers and post-express, but it is equally important for the City of Nis and the entire south of Serbia, because it will speed up the process of delivering shipments and packages to all citizens in this part of the country.

During his visit to the post offices in Leskovac, Lebane and Medvedja, he held a meeting on the topic of improving and expanding technological and logistics capacities, according to the growing needs of the city and the entire area of southeast Serbia.

Andjelkovic pointed out that, in addition to the technical and technological modernization in the form of robotic support that had been implemented in the postal center in Nis the year before, the expansion of capacities for technological processes and logistics created the prerequisites to fully respond to user requests for new services, increasing reliability and quality and short delivery times, in line with the rapid development in this city.
