Zijin: We are aware of the US decision, we oppose all forms of forced labor

The company claims that it is aware of the decision recently announced by the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to withhold the release of imported goods (WRO) and that it takes this situation seriously.
The US Customs and Border Protection has issued a Withhold Release Order for copper and copper products produced in Serbia by the company Serbia Zijin Copper.
According to the statement published yesterday on the US Customs and Border Protection website, effective immediately, CBP personnel at all ports of entry into the US will detain shipments of these copper products “due to evidence reasonably indicating the use of forced labor in their production.”
