Lucic: Roaming for EU to be abolished by year-end or early 2027

The CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lucic, told TV K1 that the plan was to merge with the European market when it came to roaming by the end of 2026 or in the first quarter of 2027, which would in practice mean the abolition of roaming for Serbian citizens in the European Union.

– The plan is by the end of the year, and I would be satisfied if it were in the first quarter of 2027. This is great news for users, because wherever they are in Europe, they will use the internet as if they were at home – said Lucic.

Speaking about the plans and deadlines, Lucic emphasized that the implementation of this process would represent a significant benefit for users, who would in the future use mobile services in Europe under the same conditions as in domestic traffic.
