The PE Roads of Serbia announced yesterday that, from July 1, 2026, the implementation of a penalty policy would begin for all owners and users of category 4 vehicles that did not pay their tolls electronically, using TAG devices.

The obligation to use TAG devices for trucks entered into force on January 1, 2026, in accordance with the Law on Fees for the Use of Public Goods.

The PE Roads of Serbia has decided to postpone the full implementation of the legal provisions, in order to ensure a transitional period and technical support for all users.

For acting contrary to the provisions of the Law, fines of 500,000 to two million dinars are prescribed for a legal entity, from 10,000 to 100,000 for a responsible person in a legal entity, from 10,000 to 500,000 for an entrepreneur and from 5,000 to 50,000 dinars for a natural person.

The company called on all transporters that had not yet introduced TAG devices in their vehicles to do so as soon as possible and thus ensure faster, simpler and safer passage through toll stations and avoid additional fines.

The only regular way to pay the toll for category 4 vehicles, in the barrier-free (MLFF) toll collection system that operates on the Belgrade Bypass section, is by registering the TAG device on the Toll4All web platform.

Anyone who does not pay the toll on the Belgrade Bypass via a TAG device registered on the Toll4All platform, but instead uses a prepaid or postpaid TAG device, will, as stated, be issued an invoice for subsequent toll collection, including additional costs of the extraordinary procedure.
