HUB201, CCIS and Austrian Standards launch first international NIS2 certification program in Serbia

The Regional Cybersecurity Innovation Center HUB201, in cooperation with the Center for Digital Transformation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (CDT) and the Austrian certification organization Austrian Standards, has launched the first training and international certification program for NIS2 experts in Serbia.

The program is intended for companies, institutions and professionals who want to develop internal capacities to implement the requirements of the new European NIS2 directive, which brings stricter standards in the field of cybersecurity, risk management and information systems protection.

According to the organizers, compliance with NIS2 standards is becoming increasingly important for companies that do business with partners from the European Union, are part of large-scale supply chains or belong to critical infrastructure sectors.

The four-day training program will be implemented within the framework of an official partnership with the Austrian Standards organization, and is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises, technology companies, large system suppliers, as well as organizations in the fields of energy, finance, transport, healthcare, telecommunications, digital services and the public sector.

During the training, participants will gain practical knowledge in cyber risk management, improving security procedures, preparing for regulatory requirements and strengthening the operational resilience of organizations. Upon completion of the program, candidates will have the opportunity to take the official Austrian Standards certification exam, which will earn them an internationally recognized certificate for NIS2 experts with a validity of three years.

The program is intended for IT and security managers, risk management experts, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance consultants, as well as professionals who will be responsible for implementing NIS2 requirements in their organizations. The organizers emphasize that no prior knowledge in the field of cybersecurity is required to attend the training.

Applications for the program are open until June 12, while the first generation of participants will attend live training from June 16 to 19, 2026 in Belgrade, at the HUB201 premises.
