TBEA Shandong and Dishang Group considering investing in Serbia

Another Chinese company could soon open its plant in Serbia. A potential investment in Serbia is being considered by TBEA Shandong Luneng Taishan Cable.

Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic spoke with representatives of this company. As Mesarovic stated in an Instagram post, a constructive meeting was held with representatives of this company on the topic of potential investment.

This Chinese company was founded in 1950 and is a key enterprise of TBEA’s power transmission and transformation industry. TBEA Shangdong has 70 years of experience in the production and servicing of wires and cables and is dedicated to providing green, technological, energy-saving and environmentally friendly high-quality products and reliable integrated solutions for the power system to global customers. TBEA is also a national base for research, development and export of wires and cables.

In addition to representatives of TBEA, Mesarovic also discussed the potential investment with representatives of the Chinese company Dishang Group, one of the largest Chinese manufacturers and exporters of clothing and textiles. It has 90 factories and more than 200 partner facilities across Asia. The company supplies many of the world's leading fashion and sportswear brands.
