Most expensive apartment last year sold for EUR 1.8 million

The real estate market in the Republic of Serbia in 2025 was worth EUR 8.1 billion, which represents an increase of 8.6% compared to 2024. The number of purchase and sale contracts was 129,185, which is an increase of 1.8% compared to the previous year. During this period, there was a continuation of moderate growth in apartment prices with an annual growth rate of 5.70%, the Republic Geodetic Authority announced.


In 2025, significant growth was recorded in the real estate credit market compared to the previous year. Credit financing was recorded in 14% of real estate transaction contracts, which represents an increase of 4 percentage points compared to the previous year.

The City of Belgrade dominates the total value of traded apartments with a share of 53%.

The most expensive square meter of an apartment in Serbia in 2025 was sold in the Belgrade municipality of Savski Venac and cost EUR 15,298 per square meter, according to data from the RGA.

The highest amount of EUR 1.8 million was allocated for an apartment of 537 m2, located in the Belgrade Waterfront location.
