Vida Power hybrid power plant with 370 MW capacity to be built near Zajecar – Wind turbines at 32 locations and solar fields within Sunce SPP

The city of Zajecar has announced public access to the draft Detailed Regulation Plan for the construction of the Vida Power hybrid power plant, which would include a wind farm, solar fields and an electricity storage system. The project is planned in the area of the cadastral municipalities of Glogovica, Dubocane, Mala Jasikova and Koprivnica.

The investor is the company Vida Energy d.o.o. Vracar, while the planning documentation was prepared by Projektura d.o.o. Beograd.

The plan boundary includes part of the territory of the administrative area of the city of Zajecar with a total area of 1,632 hectares.

According to the draft, 32 locations have been defined for the installation of wind turbines, and the total capacity of the hybrid power plant will be around 370 MW, including energy from solar fields within the Sunce SPP.

The public review of the plan lasts until June 4, and interested members of the public can submit comments and suggestions until that date.

The plan was already put up for an early public review about two years ago, when it was estimated that the hybrid power plant would have a capacity of 350 MW, with wind turbines and solar panels on 3,870 ha.
