Location requirements issued for construction of general aviation aircraft parking and servicing platform at Nikola Tesla Airport

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued location requirements for the construction of a general aviation aircraft parking and servicing platform with an access road and service passage at Nikola Tesla Airport, in accordance with the Detailed Regulation Plan for the airport complex.

The cadastral plots on which the construction of a general aviation aircraft parking and servicing platform is envisaged according to the conceptual design are located within the scope of the DRP for the airport complex, within Unit III, or in Subunit IIIa, (platform and maneuvering area zone, airline zone, service and logistics facilities zone and special purpose zone).

The platform and maneuvering area zone, as specified, includes all necessary areas intended for take-off, landing, ground movement and docking of aircraft. The zone in question functions as a passenger terminal zone, technical services, service and logistics facilities, cargo zone and zone for other airlines.

– In accordance with the current development plans for the airport complex, the reconstruction of the existing one and the construction of an inserted runway are planned, as well as the reconstruction of the existing ones and the construction of a new system of taxiways, maneuvering areas and platforms of various types intended for air traffic and technical maintenance of aircraft – it is stated in the location requirements.

In accordance with the technology of air traffic, the construction of runways, runway end protection areas, runway turnstiles, taxiways, platforms for movement, waiting and parking of aircraft, platforms for de-icing and protection against icing, and service roads and parking lots is permitted.

As added, the construction and installation of auxiliary facilities and equipment is also permitted.
