Yettel and SBB, both owned by e& PPF Telecom Group, have officially become one company as of today, they announced. SBB has ceased to exist as a legal entity and has been merged into Yettel, which is the legal successor of SBB. After April 1, all telecommunications services will be provided by Yettel, while SBB will continue to exist as a brand.

– The integration of Yettel and SBB is progressing step by step, and our goal is to combine the strengths of both companies. The SBB brand, which is well known and valued for the quality of its services, will continue to exist. Over the long term, we are working toward unifying operations under a single brand, Yettel. This integration gives us the opportunity to create something truly unique in the market – Mike Michel, CEO of Yettel said.

For SBB customers, Internet, TV and the EON platform remain available, and their contracts have been transferred to Yettel as the new operator. SBB retail stores, the application, the portal and the contact center (19900) continue to operate as before.

The change concerns invoicing: the bank account number for the payment of services and the invoice issuer will now be Yettel instead of SBB.

– Since July last year, customers of both Yettel and SBB have had access to all TV content available across the two leading platforms, with the same channel order and the same pricing. In addition, business customers of both companies now have access not only to traditional telecommunications services but also to a full range of new ICT solutions. This allows both small businesses and large enterprises to focus on their core operations while Yettel and SBB jointly take care of the security and stability of their telecommunications and IT infrastructure – the press release says.
