Excise duty on oil derivatives to be reduced by another 40%

Due to the sharp rise in the price of oil and oil derivatives, the state will, as announced, further reduce the level of excise duties.

During a session of the National Security Council, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, speaking about the reduction of excise duties on oil derivatives, pointed out that the state would almost give up its revenues.

– We will reduce it by another 40%, cumulatively we will lower the excise duty by about 61%. We will almost give up our state revenues in order to maintain this price. And we will maintain it in the weeks ahead. Unless it goes to 200. Then I don't know. We will look for a solution – said Vucic.
