Serbia and Azerbaijan sign seven cooperation documents

Representatives of Serbia and Azerbaijan exchanged seven signed bilateral cooperation documents today at the Palace of Serbia, including the Agreement on the Development, Design, Construction and Operation of a Combined Cycle Power Plant in Serbia, the Government of Serbia announced on its website.

The documents were exchanged in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The Agreement between the Government of Serbia and the Government of Azerbaijan on the Development, Design, Construction and Operation of a Combined Cycle Power Plant in Serbia was exchanged by Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic and Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov.

The Agreement between the Government of Serbia and the Government of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of food safety was exchanged by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Dragan Glamocic and Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Economy of Serbia and Azerbaijan was exchanged by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic and Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of Serbia and the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of media and communication was exchanged by the Minister of Information and Telecommunications Boris Bratina and Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev.

The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Culture for the Period 2026-2030 was exchanged by Minister of Culture Nikola Selakovic and Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Sport of Serbia and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan in the field of sports was exchanged by Minister of Sport Zoran Gajic and Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sport Farid Gayibov.

The Memorandum of Understanding on Health Insurance between the National Health Insurance Fund and the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance of Azerbaijan was exchanged by Acting Director of the National Health Insurance Fund Sanja Radojevic Skodric and Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Serbia Kamil Khasiyev.

Earlier in the day, the first session of the Council for Strategic Partnership between Serbia and Azerbaijan was held, chaired by Vucic and Aliyev.
