Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s largest hotel chains with more than 9,000 hotels in over 95 countries, has announced its entry into the Serbian market or some other country in the region.

The brand is present in key world metropolises and tourist centers - from New York, Miami and Los Angeles, through Rome and Milan, to Dubai and destinations in the Middle East and Asia.

Wyndham is globally recognized for its “affordable luxury” concept, which combines a high standard of service and amenities with prices more accessible to a wide range of guests.

Most of the hotels fall into the 4- and 5-star categories, which makes them attractive for business and leisure guests, with high occupancy rates throughout the year and stable business results.

200 apartments and a 1,000 m2 spa center

According to the plans, a luxury complex with more than 200 apartments, a spa center of over 1,000 m2, restaurants, bars and other amenities of international luxury hotel standards will be built in the region.

The hotel also includes residential apartments for sale, while the hotel part will remain under the professional international management of Wyndham.

– By signing the contract, a partner has already been found in the Satelit Resorts group, but equally important is a partnership with the local community that understands the long-term effects of such projects - from employment and tax revenues to international visibility – says Vassilis Themelidis, Regional Director for Southeast Europe.

Regional locations and potential

Although the contract has been formally signed with the Serbian Satelit Resorts group, the final location of the future hotel has not yet been defined. According to information from investment circles, destinations in Serbia are on the shortlist, while North Macedonia and Montenegro are also being considered.

The final decision will depend on urban and infrastructure capacities, the readiness of local governments, and institutional support.
