Oracle ready to expand cooperation with Serbia, including healthcare

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Djuro Macut, met in Dubai, where he is participating in the World Governments Summit, with the management of Oracle.

Representatives of this company emphasized that Serbia was a digital hub in Southeast Europe, expressing their readiness to become more actively involved in Serbia through specific projects, including in the field of healthcare, as well as by expanding the Software as a Service (SaaS) model provided by the State Data Center of the Republic of Serbia, the website of the Government of Serbia reported.

Macut invited this company to provide support and participate as a partner in the upcoming Specialized Exhibition Expo 2027, as well as to take an active part in the Gitex 2027 fair, which will be held in May 2027 in Belgrade.

Oracle is one of the first users and at the same time the largest commercial user of the State Data Center in Kragujevac. Thanks to this cooperation, the State Data Center of Serbia delivers modern “Oracle Cloud” solutions to end users around the world, making Serbia unique in this part of Europe.

The Office for Information Technology and E-Government of the Government of Serbia has been developing strong cooperation with Oracle since 2017, when the first state Oracle agreement was signed.

The Prime Minister of Serbia and representatives of Oracle agreed to continue talks in Belgrade in the coming period, in order to further concretize the agreed initiatives.
