Dina card transactions increase by nearly a fifth in 2025

The total number and value of transactions carried out using Dina cards increased in 2025 by 16% compared to 2024. The total number of payments for goods and services made with the national payment card went up by 21% from the previous year, while the number of cash withdrawal transactions climbed 1%, announced the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).


Specifically, the number of payments at online points of sale recorded a growth of 32% compared to 2024, and the number of online points of sale where payment with Dina cards is enabled has exceeded 3,000.

The NBS reminds that the holders of Dina cards issued by all banks in the country are able to withdraw cash in amounts of up to 5,000 dinars when making payments at points of sale such as Mercator, Roda, iDEA, Maxi, Mega Maxi, Shop&Go, Tempo, and others, as well as when making payments at all NIS Petrol, Gazprom, and OMV fuel stations.

– The use of the cashback service, measured by the number of transactions, increased by 113% from the year before – the NBS points out.
