Italian IT company CSA planning investments in Serbia

The Italian company CSA, which deals with the digitalization of large and complex systems, document management and data processing, plans investments in Serbia, announced Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic after a meeting with the company’s management in Rome.

– The company CSA S.c.p.a. is one of the largest IT companies in Italy and is ready to invest as early as 2026. I expect them in Belgrade in the next month – said Mesarovic.

As she added, Italy is one of the most important partners for Serbia when it comes to foreign trade. The export deficit is on Serbia’s side, since a total of EUR 2 billion was exported from Serbia to Italy, while EUR 2.5 billion was imported from Italy to Serbia.

– We have to work on this, when it comes to further developing our cooperation with Italy and with Italian companies – explained Mesarovic.

She also pointed out that she had begun her visit to Italy at the invitation of two companies, and added that this showed that Serbia was recognized on the world’s investment map.

– Italy is a country not far from Serbia, which observes the business and economic environment, how and where to invest and to what extent and where they see that long-term stability – said Mesarovic.
