International tender for reconstruction of part of Ibar Main Road announced – Works from Usce to Raska worth 2.26 billion dinars

The estimated value of the works is 2.26 billion dinars excluding VAT, and the planned implementation period is 22 months. The tender was published within the TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) system, the official gazette of the European Union for public procurement.
As stated in the documentation, the project is being implemented within the Road Rehabilitation Program, which is financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Republic of Serbia. The contract will be implemented under FIDIC conditions, and the procurement procedure in accordance with EIB rules.
The tender covers a wide range of works, including: preparatory works and removal of existing pavement layers, earthworks and improvement of the road subgrade, construction and rehabilitation of the drainage system, reconstruction of the pavement structure (bearing and wearing layers), rehabilitation and reconstruction of bridges, culverts and retaining walls, installation of traffic signals and equipment, and works on electrical and telecommunications installations.
The works will be carried out under traffic, with the obligation to ensure safe conditions for both road users and contractors.
