– The Ministry and the state have started certain negotiations to start construction of the Gruza Corridor even before the completion of the Northern Bypass – Ilic indicated while appearing on the show Epicentar.
This IB-class expressway will be 36 kilometers long and will cover parts of the territories of Kragujevac, Cacak and the Municipality of Knic.
The main contractor is the PE Roads of Serbia.
Let us remind that the Roads of Serbia, as the main contractor, last spring submitted a Request for Approval for the Environmental Impact Assessment Study for the phase-based construction of the IB expressway from Kragujevac to the connection with the IA-A5 (E761) state road in Mrcajevci (Gruza Corridor).
According to the Public Procurement Plan of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure for 2024, the procurement of design and construction services for the construction of the Kragujevac-Mrcajevci expressway (Gruza Corridor) and the Svilajnac bypass is estimated at approximately 68.9 billion dinars (approximately EUR 590 million).
As eKapija already wrote, the 36 km long expressway route, which is planned as a four-lane connection between Kragujevac and the Morava Corridor, envisages the construction of four interchanges, a total of 30 bridge structures, 24 underpasses and overpasses, as well as the construction of the 670 m long Vuckovica tunnel near Knic.
