North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that his country was building a gas pipeline with Greece and was starting construction with Serbia.

As Mickoski posted on his Facebook account, he said this at a panel dedicated to the economy and investments in Davos, where he spoke about the strategic steps that North Macedonia was taking regarding artificial intelligence, energy and the long-term development of the country.

According to him, regarding artificial intelligence, Macedonian electricity transmission lines are being strengthened, and in parallel with that, natural gas transmission lines too.

– In this context, we are building a gas interconnector with Greece, and we are also starting the construction of a gas interconnector that will connect the country with Serbia. These are strategic projects of essential importance, not only for our country, but also for the entire region – Mickoski wrote on his Facebook account.
