IMF denies that Serbian GDP growth will reach 3.6% – They estimate 3%

He states that this figure was recently published by several media outlets, but that the latest IMF growth projection for Serbia for 2026 remains 3%.
– This projection was published in a press release after the end of the mission on October 30, 2025 and republished in the Staff Report on December 30, 2025. The next IMF growth projection for Serbia will be published (together with the World Economic Outlook - WEO) in April 2026 – Ratnovski stated.
The statement also says that the data on annual growth of 3.6% may have come from the WEO database, which is updated for Serbia every October and April, and reflects projections from September and March, respectively.
