The Agency for Spatial and Urban Planning of Serbia has announced a public presentation of the urban planning design project for the construction of access and service roads within the system of the reversible hydropower plant Bistrica and the Potpec hydropower plant, in the municipalities of Nova Varos and Priboj.

The project was developed by the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia, and the public presentation will be held from January 23 to 30.

Let us remind that the year before last, in the autumn, the Spatial Plan for this most important energy project in Serbia was adopted, which, among other things, includes transport infrastructure. The plan covers an area of 253 km2 in the municipalities of Nova Varos, Priboj and Prijepolje. The reversible hydropower plant Bistrica will be an investment worth almost a billion euros, and the project will be financed through a combination of domestic and foreign loans.

As previously announced by the relevant ministry, preparatory works for construction should begin this year.
