Titan Group to buy around five million tons of fly ash from TENT B – Ten-year contract signed with EPS

Titan Group has signed a ten-year contract with Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) to provide access to approximately five million tons of fresh fly ash from the TENT B thermal power plant, the company announced. This is a long-term arrangement that provides TITAN with a stable supply of alternative cementitious materials, while simultaneously addressing the issue of industrial waste in Serbia.

Fly ash is a key raw material in the production of alternative cementitious materials, as it allows for a reduction in the share of clinker and consequently lower carbon dioxide emissions in the production of cement and concrete. With this contract, Titan further strengthens its position in the supply chain of low-carbon construction materials, responding to the growing demand for more sustainable solutions in the construction industry in Southeast Europe and beyond.

The company states that the provided ash will be part of its broader platform of alternative cementitious materials, which is focused on profitable decarbonization and the development of a circular economy. Customers will be able to significantly reduce embedded CO2 emissions in construction projects, without compromising material performance.
