While waiting for construction of new one in Bezanijska kosa, GOC Narodni front planning to renovate maternity ward in city center - Rooms on third floor to get bathroom and maximum of three beds

The client wants to improve the usability of the space with the planned works, as stated, and bring it into line with modern medical needs, emphasizing that the implementation must be organized in a way that ensures the smooth operation of the clinic.
The Obstetrics 2 department occupies about 500 m2 on the third floor of the complex at 62 Kraljice Natalije Street and operates as a whole divided into an older and newer part. The clinic’s expert team has developed a conceptual design that the designer should develop in several phases, including alternative solutions for the optimal functional organization of the space.
The development of a conceptual design for the procedure before the competent authorities, as well as a main design, is planned. After the conceptual design, a complete interior design is also being developed for the needs of the tender documentation for the execution of the works.
One of the key goals of the reconstruction is to improve the accommodation conditions for patients, the current 13 rooms with a maximum of 46 beds will be reorganized into 17 rooms, including an isolation unit. All rooms should have their own bathroom (toilet, shower, sink), which will solve the existing problems resulting from the existence of only two shared bathrooms.
The sewage connections in the rooms will be replaced, a separate sink for staff, a baby changing area, cabinets and mobile beds will be provided, and the existing large rooms will be divided so that they have a maximum of three beds.

Let us remind that the plan is for the Narodni front Gynecology and Obstetric Clinic, currently located at 62 Kraljice Natalije Street in Belgrade, to be relocated directly next to the Bezanijska Kosa Clinical Hospital Center, where a completely new building with a floor structure of 2B+GF+4 will be built.
