Reconstruction of GAK Visegradska entrusted to consortium of domestic companies – Contract worth EUR 39.2 million

The rehabilitation, adaptation and reconstruction works on the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Clinical Center of Serbia (GAK Visegradska) have been entrusted to a group of bidders led by the company M Enterijer Gradnja from Belgrade.

The value of the contracted works amounts to 4.5 million dinars excluding VAT, and the funds were provided from a loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank for the improvement of public health in Serbia. The contract was signed on July 7, while the execution of the works is planned for a period of two years - until July 2027.

In addition to M Enterijer Gradnja, the companies ConnectIT, Drager Tehnika, Securiton and W.D. Concord West are also participating in the project, while Termomont and Matris from Valjevo are hired as subcontractors.

The works will include all key functional parts of the clinic, including the operating room, gynecological and perinatological polyclinic, maternity ward, neonatology, pregnancy pathology, in vitro fertilization, surgery and general gynecology departments, as well as numerous auxiliary and administrative facilities. Special attention will be paid to improving the living conditions for patients and the work of medical staff, as well as the reconstruction of the former boiler room into an amphitheater.

The total gross area of the existing facility is 26,012 m2 (the area covered by the intervention is 20,578 m2). With the newly planned solution, the total gross area of the facilities would be 26,933 m2 (the area covered by the intervention is 21,603 m2).
