Serbian Prime Minister Djuro Macut stated yesterday that Serbia was a leader in the region when it came to the growth and development of ICT services and that the latest data showed that in the period January-September 2025, exports of those services had amounted to EUR 3.333 billion, which is a 12% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

Macut emphasized that we should be proud of those results, adding that the surplus in that area amounted to EUR 2.624 billion, and that Serbia also had excellent results when it came to the number of employees in this sector.

In the third quarter of this year, 115,933 citizens worked in this sector, which is 3,678 or 3.3% more than in the same quarter last year, the Prime Minister wrote on Instagram.

The ICT sector has long been the most successful sector in terms of growth rates, he reminded, adding that it was a great incentive, but also an obligation, to continue its development and move forward towards achieving even better results.
