Five companies from Serbia among top 10 fastest growing ones in Adria region

The “Fast Growing Companies” project - Adria 1000 Fastest Growing Companies, which has been implemented by Poslovne novine from Sarajevo for nine years, is the only one of its kind not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in the entire Adria region. This comprehensive project identifies and promotes companies that achieve continuous revenue growth and contribute to the dynamic development of the domestic economy.

Fast-growing companies are those business entities that continuously achieve above-average growth in revenue, employment and market share, most often measured by three-year indicators - Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR).

These are companies that, thanks to innovation, efficiency, export potential and agile management, exceed the average growth rates in their industries and represent the engine of development of the domestic economy.

Which sectors are fast-growing?

Among the thousand fastest growing companies in the Adria region, the majority are from Serbia (370), followed by Croatia (303) and Slovenia (188). Bosnia and Herzegovina has 109 companies on the list, while Montenegro has 30 representatives.

The largest number of companies among the 1000 fastest growing in the Adria region comes from the construction and wholesale sectors. At the top of the list are companies engaged in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, more than a hundred of them, which indicates an intense construction cycle throughout the region. Wholesale trade, especially non-specialized, ranks high with almost fifty representatives, while the IT, business consulting and engineering services sectors are increasingly important drivers of economic growth.

The analysis confirms that companies in the Adria region are strongly focused on investments, infrastructure development and digital transformation, which forms the basis for further growth and market competitiveness.
