Leskovac to get semi-underground containers: EUR 110,000 from city budget for equipment

The city administration of Leskovac plans to pay around 13 million dinars for the delivery and installation of 23 semi-underground containers, which is more than EUR 111,000.

The city administration stated that the locations would be determined later, during the preparation of the records for the introduction into the operations.

As stated in the tender documentation, these are containers of three cubic meters, made of polyethylene, up to 1.5 meters deep. It is also emphasized that the height of the above-ground part must be adapted to persons with disabilities, and that the material must be waterproof and such that liquid does not leak from the container.

The requirement is also that the containers be resistant to impacts, soil pressure, UV rays and corrosion, but also that they can occupy a maximum of 1.35 square meters of public space. The containers should also be mobile, so that they can be moved if necessary without being damaged.

The warranty must be ten years for the container body and two years for its bag and lid.

Installation, among other things, includes the construction of a temporary fence, cutting and breaking up asphalt and concrete, preparing and marking the terrain, excavation, placing white concrete curbs, and installing concrete slabs.

From whom the Leskovac City Administration will purchase the containers should be known after October 15, the deadline for submitting bids.
