Reconstruction of Children’s Dispensary in Leskovac announced – Investment worth EUR 5.7 million

The Service for Health Protection of Children and School Children of the Health Center Leskovac will get a whole new look in the next two years, with an investment worth close to RSD 670 million, that is, around EUR 5.7 million, without the VAT. The funds are secured through cooperation between the City of Leskovac and the Ministry of Public Investment, which is financing the majority of the project – RSD 496 million, whereas the local self-government is setting aside RSD 172.1 million.

As the mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic, announced while visiting the facility, the reconstruction entails the extension and expansion of the existing facility of the Children’s Dispensary, which will have three floors following the execution of the works.

The new floor of 1,665 m2 will be meant for the preventive section, and the facility will be equipped with new furniture and modern medical equipment.

On a parcel of 3,770 m2, 27 parking spaces will be secured as well – 12 for the employees, 13 for the users and 2 for persons with disabilities. The energy efficiency of the facility will be improved as well, including a full replacement of the joinery.

During the works, the service will be temporarily moved to the outpatient clinic no. 3, also known as the former covid outpatient clinic.
