International tender for reconstruction of state road Pozarevac (Orljevo)-Ljesnica, worth EUR 21 million, opened

The PE Roads of Serbia has announced an international tender for the performance of heavy maintenance works on state road IB 33, on the section from Pozarevac (Orljevo) to Ljesnica, with a length of 35.057 kilometers. The estimated value of the contract is 2.47 billion dinars excluding VAT, or about EUR 21 million.

The project is financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Republic of Serbia within the Road Rehabilitation Program.

The works will be carried out under traffic, with special emphasis on the safety of all road users and the smooth running of the works.

The scope of work includes preparatory activities (demolition of existing elements, clearing of vegetation, removal of asphalt), works on the substructure, construction and reconstruction of the drainage system, works on the road structure, bridges, retaining walls, as well as the installation of traffic signals and public lighting.

The expected duration of the contract is 20 months.
