Stellantis gives new impetus to Serbian exports in Kragujevac

Serbian exports are recording a growth in 2025, and the key role in that is played by the automotive industry, especially the serial production of electric vehicles - Fiat Grande Panda and Citroen C3, which takes place at the Stellantis factory in Kragujevac.

The data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia show that, in July, the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers grew 9.5% compared with the same month last year, whereas, compared with the end of 2024, a growth of 5.8% was recorded.

In the first seventh months of 2025, the value of exports of this sector amounted to EUR 337.7 million, which is a considerable jump compared to EUR 275.4 million in the same period last year.

The share of the automotive industry in the country’s total exports increased from 10.9% to 11.7%, confirming that this branch is becoming one of the most important drivers of the Serbian economy and external trade balance.
