GAK Narodni front orders urgent emergency inspections of all facilities in Kraljice Natalije Street

The Gynecological and Obstetric Clinic (Ginekolosko-akuserska klinika - GAK) Narodni front in Belgrade is starting the preparation of a report on an emergency inspection of the safety and stability of the structures of all its facilities in the complex at 62 Kraljice Natalije Street.

As stated in the project terms of reference, the reports will be prepared in accordance with the Rules on Building Structures and other relevant regulations, and will be signed and licensed by authorized engineers. The inspections include all high-rise buildings within the complex, mostly built before 1963, with a total gross area of approximately 13,900 m².

Due to the urgency of the procedure, it is planned that the basic inspection and report will be completed within 20 days at the latest, and the main inspection and report within the next 20 days. The documentation will contain a detailed description of the condition of the structure with an assessment of user safety, graphic and photo attachments, as well as recommendations for the maintenance program for 2025.

The GAK Narodni front complex consists of five interconnected buildings with a varying number of floors, with basement, ground floor and multi-story sections. Although some reconstructions and adaptations have been carried out in previous years, regular structural inspections have not been carried out so far.

The studies will be prepared in printed and digital form, and will include an overview of the basic and other structural elements, as well as an insight into the available technical documentation and records.

As a reminder, the plan is for GAK Narodni front, currently located at 62 Kraljice Natalije Street in Belgrade, to be relocated directly next to the Bezanijska Kosa Clinical Hospital Center, where a completely new building with a floor structure of 2B+GF+4 will be built.
