Serbian Railways Infrastructure: Crack on load-bearing wall on railroad near Cortanovci repaired

The Serbian Railways Infrastructure company has announced that the crack, which was aesthetic in nature, and which appeared on a load-bearing wall around 200 meters from the old Cortanovci rail station toward Beska, on the Belgrade-Novi Sad fast railroad, has been repaired in the shortest amount of time possible. The flaw was removed within current maintenance, which is the usual practice of regular maintenance in the zone of responsibility of the end-user of the infrastructure, the announcement says.

It is added that, during the repairing of the load-bearing wall near Cortanovci between Belgrade and Petrovaradin, there were no changes in train traffic, which went on with full safety.

The Serbian Railways Infrastructure company reminds that the inspection of the crack on the load-bearing wall near Cortanovci was done on August 8, when it was determined that the load-bearing structures were not damaged, that the cracks were not structural in nature and that the reinforced concrete structure was in good condition.
