Telekom Srbija to Acquire Orion Telekom WiFi and Beotelnet-ISP

Telekom Srbija plans to acquire the companies Orion Telekom WiFi and Beotelnet-ISP, according to an announcement by North Macedonia’s Competition Commission.

The Commission stated that, in line with the Law on Protection of Competition, it received a notification regarding the intended acquisition, through which Telekom Srbija seeks to gain exclusive control over Orion Telekom WiFi d.o.o., based in Zemun, Serbia.

Orion Telekom WiFi is an electronic communications services and network operator, registered to provide internet access and services, lease electronic communication network resources, and lease infrastructure used for communication services. The company has no affiliated legal entities and generated no revenue in North Macedonia, the Commission noted.

In 2024, Orion Telekom WiFi reported EUR 61,000 in operating revenue, with an EBITDA of just under EUR 25,000 and net profit of around EUR 20,000. It has no employees and total assets valued at EUR 1.18 million. The company is owned by Orion Telekom Holding, registered in the Netherlands and majority-owned by Slobodan Djinovic. It is registered for cable telecommunications services.

For the purpose of market concentration assessment, Telekom specified that the acquisition relates to the retail markets for fixed broadband internet, media content distribution, fixed telephony, wholesale infrastructure leasing for communication services, and the retail market for leasing resources on electronic communication networks.


Beotelnet-ISP has 80 employees, EUR 5.4 million in revenue in 2024, EUR 1.12 million EBITDA, and a net profit of EUR 81,929. The company is owned by Cyprus-based Kerseyco Trading Limited, with Danilo Bjelica listed as the ultimate beneficial owner, and is also registered for cable telecommunications.
