President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has announced the preparation of a support package for citizens, set to take effect on September 1.

The planned measures include reducing prices of basic goods in retail stores, lowering interest rates on loans, and launching a constitutional amendment that would prevent enforcement officers from seizing a family's only residence during debt collection proceedings.

“We are preparing a comprehensive set of measures aimed at helping those who contribute to the country’s progress through their work but still face difficult living conditions,” Vucic stated.
