Highway from Nis to Merdare to be built in full profile?

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has stated that a meeting has been held with the EBRD and that they talked about having the highway through Merosina and Prokuplje, to Kursumlija and Merdare built in a full profile and that that would facilitate bringing investors to Toplica.

– We negotiated with the EBRD about a considerable investment in Science and Technology Parks, because we want to keep the young – said Vucic.

He added that the works on the Belgrade-Nis railroad would be accelerated from the end of the year.

– This is lifeblood for us. It’s no use having just a railroad from Belgrade to Budapest, we have to connect Nis as well. We are also building Nis-Dimitrovgrad, we want to connect with Istanbul and again be part of the Orient Express and the tourist offer. We want to connect the south of Serbia with Belgrade and Central Europe, because we are thereby strengthening Nis, Vranje, Pirot – said the president.
