Average Salary in May Drops Slightly Compared to April – Employees Earned RSD 107,705 on Average

According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the average gross salary calculated for May 2025 amounted to RSD 148,930, while the average net salary (after taxes and contributions) stood at RSD 107,705. Compared to April, the average net salary decreased by RSD 1,500.

Year-over-year, the average gross salary for May 2025 increased by 7.7% in nominal terms and by 3.8% in real terms. The average net salary rose by 7.5% nominally, and by 3.6% in real terms.

The median net salary for May 2025 was RSD 84,408, indicating that 50% of employees earned up to that amount.
